V6.1 is here!

Hey guys!

WARNING
THIS VERSION IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH 1.8 OR LOWER OPTIFINES. THIS IS BECAUSE IT USES SOME NEW FEATURES FROM THE LATEST OPTIFINE. IF YOU WANT A 1.7.10 VERSION, I WILL SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE WANT IT.

    Woop, installing this straight away
    Hype train has arrived :D.

You cant use older versions of optifine. you need to have 1.8.9 or higher

      • Matthew

Interesting. I never had need for optifine on 6.0, or any other shaders i am using till now (on this device at least) 😛 😉

        • robobo1221

Thanks! The reason why mine does not work with optifine is because, i use a new feature that the new optifine only uses. 6.0 did not have the feature. so thats why :)

          • Matthew

Aaaaah, makes sense :). Anyhow, it is working fine and dandy now, and really loving all your new additions.
I only found two faults so far
            1) Under saturated coloured lights, they just don’t seem to pop onto my surfaces as much as could be imagined ((understand if personal taste, and if so, what code line do i need to tweak?))
            2) From certain places i can see my beacon (non coloured) outline through the stairs in my build, any ideas on removing this outline as it were.
Thanks for all the help, and gl for 6.2/7.0 :D.

          • robobo1221

            1) what do you mean with that?

            2) Hmm can you give me a screenshot?

          • Matthew

            1) The new coloured light outlines, from light coming through stained glass, are a bit pale for certain colours, it is nice to see each of the colours the light is going through :).
            2) Seeing if i can replicate, could have been a one off

          • robobo1221

            1) Ahh, you mean the coloured shadows. i could probably amp up the saturation on them.

          • Matthew

            Indeed i did,
and for problem 2, it seems it was a one off.
referring to Nether + End, hope we could see some custom works, and not just a “fixed” map, as i am sure you got up your sleeves :P.
Once again, great pack, and looking forward to the progress towards the next update :)

  • Zaldy12 (Zaldy Macalalad)

What about Nether and The End from V6.1?

    • robobo1221

the nether and end are not fixed. i will do it in the upcomming update! :)

      • Zaldy12 (Zaldy Macalalad)

        But the Kuda-Shader V6.2.81 & Sildur’s Shaders V1.15 are added

        • robobo1221

not yet, maybe in a future version.

  • Zaldy12 (Zaldy Macalalad)

What about The Nether and The end? i wanna see?

  • Budhvin

I have an issue where when I view water through glass, the water is invisible, thus exposing the seabed . . .

    • robobo1221

Sorry. This is because the glass is rendered in the same file as the water. Unfortunately, i can not fix it. Its not possible in its current state.

  • Matthew

Hi Rob, me again, i found another bug/user error (most likely the second :P).
It seems with either resource packs or vanilla, my glass and has a weird sheen to it, whether day or night.
I updated optifine, and that failed to rectify it, i will post some screenies below, so you have a good idea of what i mean, the last pictures were taken when it is raining/the clear up from rain

    • robobo1221

      Woah, weird.
Can you inform me with your specs?

You can also try to update your drivers

      • Matthew

Sorry for delay, was going to post just after you but had some other things that came up ._.
        But my specs are
        OS: Windows 10
        CPU: Intel i5-6300HQ
        GPU: Nvidia 960m

        ((if need more pls say))

and the driver update may have been the cause of it, as i recently updated my nvidia driver, at a guess.

        • robobo1221

Hmm, this is weird. I think its the driver thats causing it. maybe check for a update again.

          • Matthew

I checked Nvidia drivers, and they are all up to date. If i can find a way to reinstall the previous driver, I will see if that resolves it

            ((on driver number 372.54 fyi))

          • robobo1221

The only temporarly option i can think of now is disabling reflections. I know its gonna be un natural but it will fix it.
